Elf on the Shelf

We have started a new tradition here at the party of 5 residence.......it is called ELF ON THE SHELF. If you'll notice in the picture, our elf is sitting right there in the middle of the decorations. Mr. Elf came with a book explaining himself. Basically he sits high above, where he can see all that is happening and at night he travels back to the North Pole to report. And every morning he is sitting somewhere new and must be found. Will is having the best time racing out of bed to go find Mr. Elf, every morning. One day I made sure to fold laundry in front of Mr. Elf, so that he might "see" my good deed and now Will makes it a point to do his good so that Mr. Elf can see him and have a good report....SO SWEET!
